Science!

We love to do science experiments at home whenever we can.  Remember the Magic Milk?  On Monday, since we were all home for Victoria Day, we decided to have some fun.

First, I picked up a Magic Paper Tree from the dollar store.

I don't know what chemicals are in the liquid that react to create the crystals, but it's fun to watch.

Next we "coloured" some celery.  We tried red and blue, but the red just turned brownish and wasn't nearly as exciting as the blue.

Then we made cannister rockets.  You can't see it in the video, but it shoots up about 8 feet!

We also made a Diet Coke Geyser with Mentos.  We didn't get a video of the first one and today it was raining.  I would love to be able to do something this complicated one day!

I've come across a few more experiments that I want to do, thanks to Pinterest.  What is your favorite at-home science activity?
